Elizabeth DuBois Russo has maintained her own law practice in the Farmington Valley area of Connecticut since 1986. See What We Do for more information about her unique approach to family law.

Prior to 1986, Attorney Russo was an attorney for the Missouri Senate and for the Legal Aid Society in St. Louis. Her background includes counseling and tax law, with experience as an Office Auditor for the IRS and as a counselor/houseparent for a halfway house.

Attorney Russo won a full academic scholarship to the Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, Missouri, receiving her Juris Doctorate in 1986, along with an award for the highest achievement in the study of Family Law. She is a graduate cum laude from the Honors College at the University of Missouri.

Whether advising legislators, setting up innovative mediation programs, or helping to establish the Simsbury Police Commission, Attorney Russo has been instrumental in seeking and creating effective, long-term solutions to problems-- without resulting to unnecessary litigation.

Attorney Russo has served in various capacities with several boards, commissions, professional societies and associations, and within her church community.

The proud mother of two children, Elizabeth DuBois Russo lives in Simsbury while maintaining offices in Simsbury and Avon.
